Althoffs Festival of Master Chefs
A total of 20 Master Chefs will be our guests at the 10th festival, with a total of 36 Michelin stars, 179 Gault Millau points and 38 Feinschmecker F’s.
Sunday, August 26th 2012, beginns at 1pm
Experience a thousand and one taste compositions from different countries, presented to you by the master chefs Joachim Wissler, Nils Henkel, Christian Jürgens and many more star cooks from the Althoff Hotel & Gourmet Collection as well as numerous partner chefs.
Experience the unique culinary art with selected wines and Champagnes during a “walking lunch” in all areas of the castle, embedded in an exhilarating supporting programme with live music!
And the special thing is: you can experience true “live gourmet cuisine”, as the cooks will prepare the dishes directly in front of you at mobile kitchen modules. A perfect opportunity to have a chat with the star chefs and to look them over the shoulder and learn a trick or two.
As every year, the dessert buffet will once again be a true highlight, staged by Kitchen Director Marcus Graun and his Pâtisserie team in a very special setting: dive in to the sweet world of desserts and let us pamper you with true delights!
The event begins at 1pm with a Champagne reception in the hotel lobby. From 1:30pm “Walking Lunch” will be open to you.
