♦ Hot air balloon: Take a trip with a hot air balloon – and pop the question while having a glass of sparkling wine. A balloon, a couple and the silence of the sky. Reach for seventh heaven together! One of the most wonderful ways of presenting yourself as a true romantic. Your private pilot will take you to the horizon. And for those of you who want to do it properly, you can even help set up the balloon and make preparations for take–off. After landing, both of you will be “balloon-baptised“ by the pilot with earth, fire and a bottle of sparkling wine and thus become members of the "balooners' club". An exceptional surprise with an almost insurmountable display of love ans affection!
♦ Firewoks: Have a fireworks display or a burning double heart organised for your fiancé at a romantic candlelight dinner (this could include dishes in the shape of a heart, or pasta in the shape of a heart, etc.). The burning double heart is a gift of the very special kind. On top of that it would also be possible to add the pairs’ initials (two letters) right and left of the double heart.

Enjoy yourself for 24 hours with this wonderfully preserved Beetle, e.g. during an outing in the countryside. We will pack a romantic hamper for you so you can begin your drive through the green countryside of the Bergisch Land region.
♦ Your own star: Naming a star after someone is one of the most romantic presents you can make. Here we can offer to have a star named after your sweetheart and thus provide a present that will certainly put lovers into the right mood. Roses will wither, chocolates may melt, but a star will last forever! Combined with a romantic candlelight dinner, this experience will certainly be unforgettable and provide the right mood for your marriage proposal.
♦ Hiking: A hike from the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg to the Schlosshotel Lerbach – and on the way you can have a surprise candlelight dinner with exclusive catering just for the two of you in a small, secluded, romantic hut...!
♦ Schloss Bensberg tour: Take a tour of the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg that then ends on the balcony of the Bel Etage. You and your partner then stand there and enjoy the impressive view all the way to Cologne Cathedral. Suddenly someone rolls out a banner on the large lawn area in the castle courtyard underneath the balcony with an inscription of your choice!
♦ Paper chase: A paper chase could also be a possibility, in which your partner has to gather her marriage proposal bit by bit. This will build up the suspense, and at the end of the paper chase, at the same time as the last piece of the puzzle is found, a romantic candlelight dinner awaits the both of you.
♦ Message in a bottle: A message in a bottle is a sign of curiosity, passion and romance – therefore the ideal deliverer of your proposal. The message in a bottle is brought to your partner in a wooden box during a romantic dinner. We can also gladly engrave a message directly onto the bottle.
♦ Horse drawn carriage: A romantic ride with a horse drawn carriage through green woods or in winter time through the snowy Bergisch Land district can certainly be a perfect place to propose.
